FATHER–DAUGHTER WILDLIFE PROJECT
Before the Photograph, There Was Wonder
“Some moments ask to be remembered. Others ask to be lived first.”
Heath and Avery are father and daughter, and this is their project — weekends spent along South Carolina rivers and trails, camera in hand, following whatever the day happens to give them.

Wildlife Through Our Lenses
Every photograph began as a real encounter in the field. Some became fine-art prints. Others simply deserved to be remembered.
DOCUMENTING WITH FIELD JOURNALS
The Outing Matters as Much as the Image
Some days center on a single encounter. Others move quickly between several. Either way, each outing becomes its own field journal — where we went, what the conditions were like, and what we found, alongside the photographs and film.

FEATURED FIELD JOURNAL
Wildlife Along the Saluda Riverwalk
Columbia, South Carolina
At the Saluda Riverwalk, the river became the center of the outing.
Ospreys moved above the water. Canada geese gathered along the river. Beneath the trees, double-crested cormorants rested, swam, and moved between the water and exposed rocks.
The journal brings those encounters together through the photographs, the film, and the conditions surrounding the day—without reducing the outing to a single successful frame.
Observed during the outing:
Osprey · Double-crested Cormorant · Canada Goose
EXPLORE APEX EXPOSURE MEDIA
Follow the Story From Different Directions
Every outing creates several ways to continue exploring. Begin with the complete journal, follow the wildlife encountered along the way, discover the available fine-art work, or learn more about the people behind the project.
Field Journals
Follow each outing from arrival through the final encounter.
The journals combine what happened, what we observed, the photographs we brought home, and the films created along the way.
Wildlife Encounters
Explore the animals we have photographed and filmed in the field, where we encountered them, and the journal containing the complete story.
Fine Art Prints
Selected photographs are offered as carefully presented fine-art prints.
Each release is connected to a real encounter and produced in a deliberately chosen format.
